Two lead for Brad Hallick

He's tough as nails on the field and sharp as a razor in the classroom. He is a wanted man by several Division I programs. Brad Hallick of Pottsville High School in Pottsville, Pa. has two leaders. Both schools are in major conferences.

"Vanderbilt and Virginia are my favorites," lineman Brad Hallick. Hallick is an outstanding student who is ranked number 1 in a class of 257. Both schools attract Hallick because of their combination fine academics and big time football.

The bright yet burely lineman who aspires to work in the medical field visited Vanderbilt over the spring and toured its Pre-Med facilities. Temple, Brown, and Rutgers have also offered Hallick.

Hallick earned First Team All-Area, All-Region and All-League honors as a junior and is ranked in Pennsylvania's top 50.

Asked who is recruiting him the hardest, Hallick replied, "definitely Vanderbilt." The big lineman recently received a 5-page hand written letter from Commodore Head Coach Bobby Johnson.

Hallick, who averages 3 pancake blocks a game, is in no hurry to make his school choice but would like to have that over with by the summer. Stay tuned to for updates on this solid prospect.
