"I have offers from Middle Tennessee, Vanderbilt, Mississippi State, Alabama, Louisville and Ole Miss," said Mark Fisher from Madison, (Tenn.). "Alabama, Louisville and Ole Miss offered me two days before school ended in May."
When asked favorites Fisher replied, "I don't really have any favorites right now. I like the schools that have offered me. During the season I'll begin to pick the schools I like the most, and I will name my favorites. I really don't have a time-frame as to when I will make my decision."
Fisher talks of the scholarship offers and the qualities he has found the most appealing at each school.
Alabama: "Their defense is always known to be top of the line especially the defensive line. I like coach [Chris] Ball. He is my recruiting coach. I like the campus. It's a very nice place. Alabama all-around is a good place."
Louisville: "I like their facilities. I like coach [Mike] Summers. He really knows what he is doing. The atmosphere is great. It is tied with Alabama's."
Mississippi: "I like their facilities and the location."
Mississippi State: "Their football program is progressing. I like their coaches. They seem very nice. I am going to find out more about them this summer."
Middle Tennessee State: "They are all right. They are right down the road from me."
Vanderbilt: "Coach [Robbie] Caldwell is a great man. I like him. The facilities are nice. The team is progressing a lot. It's a great school with a great education. It's right down the road as well."
Fisher was forced to miss camps at Alabama and Louisville due to some remodeling at their home in Madison. However, he did attend camp at Ole Miss and took an unofficial visit to Mississippi State following his trip to Oxford.
"The Ole Miss camp went well," he said. "I had a real good time. I thought it was a good experience for me working out with their coaches."
"The next day we went to Starkville. Coach [Shane] Beamer took me around campus and gave me the tour. I thought Mississippi State was a real clean and nice place. I really enjoyed it there."
