For years, Vanderbilt fans have been urged to "Show Your Gold!" But on Sunday afternoon, Memorial Gym was filled with pink, as the women's basketball team staged a "Pink Out" in support of breast cancer awareness for the nationally televised game against Clemson. Here's a look at some of the people who "showed their pink."

Susan Gray, a long-time supporter of the women's basketball program, is a two-time breast cancer survivor. Carol Williams, Caroline's mother, and others in the Williams clan wore "In Honor of Susan Gray" signs on their pink hats to join her in the celebration of the day.

Eighteen members of Amber Norton's extended family made the trip down from various parts of Kentucky.

Sunday was also Liz Sherwood's 22nd birthday. Earlier in the week, Coach Melanie Balcomb saw a UNC player say on TV that he was going to score 19 points on his 19th birthday, so Coach Balcomb told Liz to score 22 points -- and she did.

The NCAA imposes severe restrictions on the type and color of accessories that players can wear with their uniforms, but pink shoelaces were allowed. During the game, Carla Thomas' laces were tied but when she scored 19 points in the game, but she loosened them while meeting and greeting young fans after the game.
