Vandy Verbal Talks of Season, Sets Visit

T.J. Greenstone recorded 87 tackles, 13 tackles for loss, 12.5 sacks, two fumble recoveries and one forced fumble. Those numbers were good enough to earn Greenstone first-team All-County and a trip to play in the Georgia North-South All Star game.

"We (Collins High School) finished up 7-4 on the season," Greenstone said from Suwanee, (Ga.). "We lost in the first round of the play-offs 31-28 to Roswell, and they are about to play for the state championship in Georgia."

The 6-3, 254-pound defensive tackle has set his official visit to Vanderbilt and talked of his upcoming trip.

"I am going up to Vanderbilt on the weekend of January 19 through the 21," he said. "I have been up there three or four times already. My main goal this trip will be just to talk to the professors and work on my schedule and stuff. I already know all I need to know about the football stuff. I want to see the academics now."

When asked if he is 100-percent committed to Vanderbilt Greenstone replied, "A few coaches from other schools have stopped by my school to ask about me, but I keep telling them I am going to Vanderbilt. So, lately they have kind of backed off."
