The Vanderbilt Commodores practiced Friday for three hours in a session that ended with hurry up offense and field goal kicking.
The team returned to the practice field Saturday at 9 a.m. for two hours of drills. The session took place in Vanderbilt Stadium.
Saturday freshman players were busy moving into their dorms and had to avoid the Commodores crossing the street into the stadium.
The next practice is Monday at 3:30. Practices are now closed to the public.
Vanderbilt opens the 2002 season against the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets on August 31 at 5 p.m. CST in Atlanta, Ga.
