Alabama (14-2, 1-1 SEC) comes to Nashville ranked 10th in the latest Associated Press poll. The Crimson Tide has not played since posting a 71-61 victory over division rival LSU on Jan. 9.
All five Alabama starters average double figures in scoring led by Richard Hendrix with 14.9 points. Hendrix has posted double-doubles in points and rebounds in three of his last five games.
Alonzo Gee is second in scoring, averaging 14.8 points. He's made seven of his last 14 attempts from 3-point range and grabs 6.0 rebounds a game for the season.
Jermareo Davidson leads the SEC in blocks (3.21 per game) and is second in rebounding with 9.4 per game.
Ronald Steele is second in the SEC shooting 49.2 percent from 3-point range (30-of-61) and is sixth in assists with 4.62 per outing.
Alabama is among the best defensive squads in the SEC. The Crimson Tide are second in 3-point shooting defense (27.5 percent) and are tied for second in field goal percentage defense (.373). Alabama also leads the SEC in rebounding with 42.3 per game and is fourth with 6.06 blocks per game.
