Chris Marve Takes Official to Vanderbilt

Linebacker Chris Marve from Memphis-White Station, (Tenn.) is a solid verbal commitment to Vanderbilt. Marve took his official visit to Nashville over the weekend, and he talks about his trip.

"I loved it," said Chris Marve of his official visit. "I met all the commitments. I really can't wait to go up there and start playing."

Marve talks in-depth about his weekend with the Commodores.

"I got there Friday afternoon around 4:00 p.m," he said. "We met with the coaches and had dinner. We went out with our player hosts and met up with a few players."

"My host was Marcus Buggs. I liked him a lot. I am looking forward to playing with him when I get up there."

"Saturday, we had a team breakfast. We met with an academic counselor and went on a campus tour. We had individual meetings with coach [Bobby] Johnson. We went on a team dinner and watched a highlight video. We went out with our host that night."

"Today ,[Sunday] we had breakfast again. We went to a restaurant in the hotel, and it was real good. Then we all left."

"I loved hanging out with all the commitments. I think it was a great idea to bring in all the commitments at the same time. It's going to make it that much better when we all get up there. All of us hung out together."

"The best part of my visit was getting to know my future teammates and the coaches. I liked getting to know coach Johnson. The visit was a lot of fun."
