Scouting Kentucky

Kentucky (19-8, 8-5 SEC) is tied with Vanderbilt for second place in the Eastern Division. The Wildcats topped visiting LSU 70-63 on Tuesday. Randolph Morris scored a game-high 20 points to go along with 10 rebounds. Jodie Meeks came off the bench to contribute 18 points. Ramel Bradley added 16. The victory snapped a three-game losing streak for Kentucky.

Kentucky ranks second in the SEC in field goal shooting percentage (.477) and field goal shooting defense (.397) for the season. Since the start of league play, the Wildcats rank second in the SEC in field goal shooting percentage (.484), field goal shooting defense (.421), scoring margin (+6.7) and assists per game (16.15).

The Wildcats are led by the trio of guards Joe Crawford, Ramel Bradley and center Randolph Morris. UK's big man leads the team in scoring with 15.7 points per contest. Since the start of SEC play, Morris ranks among the league leaders in scoring (tied for 10th at 14.5), field goal shooting (fourth at 55.4 percent), rebounding (tied for eighth 7.2) and blocks (third at 1.92).

Crawford is tied for fourth in the SEC in scoring (16.8 ppg) and is third in 3-point shooting (44.6 percent) in league play. Bradley has scored in double figures in 19 of the past 20 games for Kentucky.
