Arkansas (17-12, 6-9 SEC) snapped a two-game losing streak on Wednesday, topping Mississippi State 67-58 in Fayetteville. Gary Ervin tallied a career-high 20 points to go along with six rebounds and seven assists.
The Razorbacks' starting lineup features four juniors and one freshman. One of the leading candidates for SEC freshman of the year, guard Patrick Beverley ranks among the SEC leaders in seven categories. Junior forward/center Steven Hill has played well in the post this season and can record 90 or more blocks in back-to-back seasons with two against the Commodores on Saturday.
