Vanderbilt Men's NCAA Regional Notes

NCAA East Regional tickets are on sale now at for 2006-07 season ticket holders, National Commodore Club members, and Vanderbilt Alumni.  The East Regional will be held at the Continental Airlines Arena in East Rutherford, New Jersey Friday March 23rd and Sunday March 25th.
All orders for the 2007 Men's NCAA Sweet Sixteen Round in East Rutherford, New Jersey will be processed according to National Commodore Club priority order.  National Commodore Club members will be processed prior to all non-Commodore Club members. Placing an order does not assure you of purchasing tickets for this part of the tournament.  By submitting your credit card information, it confirms that you have committed to purchasing tickets and no follow up call will be forthcoming from the Vanderbilt ticket office.  If you do not qualify for tickets, your credit card will be restored the purchase amount.
Tickets are $132 per seat and include three (3) total games - two on March 23 and one on March 25.  All orders are subject to per ticket and per order charges.  No tickets will be released without all fees paid in full.  You have until 3:00 pm CST Monday, March 19, 2007 to place orders.
Should any tickets remain after Monday, Vanderbilt will put tickets on sale to the general public beginning Tuesday, March 20th at 8:30 AM CT.

Vanderbilt is offering basketball fans a chance to support the Commodores in person as they compete in the NCAA Tournament East regional March 23-25 in East Rutherford, N.J.
Total Sports is providing a tournament package that includes a guaranteed ticket purchase through the Vanderbilt ticket office, roundtrip flight to East Rutherford, hotel accommodations, luggage transfer and transportation from the airport and the Continental Area.
"We realize it was hard for a lot of fans to make it out to Sacramento for the first and second rounds," Senior Director of Development Lucy Jones said. "We know how much fun it is to travel with team supporters and we want all the fan support we can get."
The charter flight will leave early Friday morning and return Sunday evening.

The Commodores returned home very late Saturday night and were welcomed by a throng of hundreds at Nashville International Airport.  The team will take Monday off and practice on Tuesday and is expected to head to New Jersey on Wednesday.  A send off activity is being planned with the details TBA.
