Tickets sold out for Vandy regional

Vanderbilt officials announced on Tuesday that all 3,700 tickets to the NCAA Baseball Regional at Hawkins Field have been sold. The last tickets were ordered online early Tuesday morning according to Vanderbilt. Didn't order yours in time? Don't fret, the games will be televised.

Vanderbilt recently upped the capacity of the 2,000 seat Hawkins Field to 3,700 by adding 1,500 bleacher seats and 200 more in a standing room only area beside left field.

NCAA action starts at Hawkins on Friday at 2 p.m. CT when No. 2 seeded Michigan faces No. 3 seeded Memphis. No. 1 seeded Vanderbilt faces No. 4 seed Austin Peay at 7 p.m.

Vanderbilt officials also announced on Tuesday that all of the NCAA Nashville Regional games will be televised on CSS throughout much of the southeast and the state of Michigan. The games will be televised on channel 27 in Nashville. Top Stories
