Wilkins started his camp tour on May 19th, when he took part in the Scout.com combine at College of DuPage in Chicago. Wilkins finished with one of the top shuttle run times (4.22) and 3 cone times (6.93) of the day. Click HERE to see complete results from the Scout.com combine in Chicago.
On June 2nd Wilkins attended Ball State's camp and he enjoyed it but didn't get much time to interact with the coaches.
Wilkins attended camp at Vanderbilt on June 3rd and was one of 12 running backs at the Commodore football complex. He was able to get one-on-one instruction with Vanderbilt running backs coach Kenny Carter, "He talked to me about what I need to work on and how to use other parts of my body to run the ball." Wilkins liked the fact that the Vanderbilt coaches actually tried to help him improve his game.
Wilkins' Nequa Valley team starts summer workouts tomorrow so Wilkins will be a busy young man over the summer.
In six games as a junior Wilkins rushed for over 1100 yards and 19 touchdowns. He also caught three touchdown passes on his way to first team All-Conference and All-Area honors.
