With so many offers many fans are curious if he may make an early commitment, but Alex seems to be taking things one step at a time, "No sir, I am just trying to go through the recruiting process right now. I am trying to get all the information I can."
The wish list of what Alex is looking for in a school seems to be a positive for Vanderbilt. Academics will play a role in his decision as he explains, "Number one will be the academics of the school. If football doesn't work out in the future I will still be able to be successful because the school's academic program."
The timetable is not an important issue this early in the process because Alex wants to make sure of his decision. In addition Alex talked of other items important to his decision, "Second will be the all around place. Do I feel comfortable? Do I like the coaches? I just want to be part of program that is going to be successful in every area academics, building character, spiritually, and of course winning football games."
Alex is a physical, strong, and quick offensive linemen for Brentwood Academy.
"My strength as an offensive lineman is my quickness. I can block first level players, second level players, and third level players (defensive backs). My pass protection, explosion, and my aggression all are strengths." explains Bullard of his playing ability.
What does he like about Vanderbilt so far in the recruiting process? Alex was very thorough in his response to his impressions of the Commodores by saying, "First and foremost their academic program because when you graduate from there you can pretty much get a job anywhere. Coach Johnson is a really good guy and has been good to me when I have been up there and my recruiter Coach Cain every time I go up there they welcome me with open arms."
Alex is a quality prospect with ties to the Middle Tennessee area. He would be a great commit for Coach Johnson and his staff and we hope to keep in touch with him over the next few months to find out more.
