Vanderbilt has continued its good work across the country as this time they have gone into Indiana to pull one of the top offensive tackle prospects in the Midwest in Franklin Central star Elliot Hood. Hood has the ideal frame and quickness of an offensive lineman at 6-6 and 260 pounds, and he is a player that has a lot of room to grow.
"The thing about Elliot is that he just turned 17 in July," said Franklin Central Head Coach Lance Scheib. "He has a frame that will easily carry 300 pounds and he moves so well. We've clocked him here at about 4.98 in the forty yard dash. He's a 3 sport star with excellent grades. We're on a 12 point scale here and he's at about an 11.3 (3.77 on a 4.0 scale), and he's at about a 1260 on his SAT. I think he really is going to fit in well with the type of student athlete that Vanderbilt is after."
Hood is Vanderbilt's 8th public commitment. For a complete list please click here
