Vanderbilt gets No. 4 Seed

It's March Madness time for the Vanderbilt Commodores! The Vanderbilt team earned a No. 4 seed in the NCAA Tournment in the Midwest Regional.

The Commodores will face the Siena Saints in the first round in Tampa, Fla. Siena, of the MAAC conference, finished their season 22-10.

The winner of the Vanderbilt-Siena game will face the winner of the Clemson-Villanova game.

Vanderbilt, 26-7, will return to the NCAA tournament for the second consecutive year. Last year Vandy advanced to the East Regionals in East Rutherford where they lost to Georgetown, 66-65, in a game that featured a controversial no-call in the final seconds.

Other SEC teams that made the tournament included Arkansas (9 seed), Tennessee (2 seed), Georgia (14 seed), Arkansas (9 seed), Mississippi State (8 seed) and Kentucky (11 seed).
