Kittredge to Camp at Vanderbilt!

James Kittredge is a powerful defensive end that has gained the attention of multiple BCS staffs. One school that Kittredge is planning to learn more about is Vanderbilt. Look inside to find out more.

James Kittredge of Don Bosco Prep School (Ramsey, N.J.) already has the attention of several BCS schools. In fact, he has gotten offers from Duke, Maryland, North Carolina State, Pittsburgh, Rutgers, Virginia, West Virginia, South Carolina, Michigan State, UCF, Akron, Colorado and Vanderbilt.

Kittredge, who at 6-foot-4, 250 pounds has excellent size for a defensive end, also possesses good spend and runs a 5.1 40 yard dash. A hard worker in the weight room, he has benched over 325 pounds.

Asked what he likes about Vanderbilt, Kittredge, who is a fine student, pointed out the solid academics along with the tough SEC, "Vanderbilt is a great academic school and the SEC is an exciting football conference."

Kittredge's remarks are more than just eyewash. He is planning a trip with his dad to Nashville to participate in one of Vanderbilt's football camps. He and his father will arrive in Nashville on Friday, June 19, and then James will take part in the Commodore staff's Senior Elite II camp on Saturday.

Other schools that Kittredge has visited include Rutgers, Duke, North Carolina State, Virginia, UCF, Pittsburgh, and UCLA.
