The Latest On Jerrell Priester!

The Kentucky Wildcats have been keeping a very close eye on 2010 RB/CB prospect, Jerrell Priester, despite his verbal commitment to the Commodores. So now where does his commitment stand with the Commodores?

Jerrell Priester profile

Back in the month of July, Allendale-Fairfax RB/CB prospect, Jerrell Priester, brought his recruitment to an end by verbally committing to the Vanderbilt Commodores. But according to recent publishing(s) on the Network, another member from the SEC has been coming on very strong to the 5-9, 170 pound speedster; the University of Kentucky. In fact, the UKY Coaching Staff recently invited him up for an official visit, and needless to say he accepted their invitation with opened arms.

"Kentucky invited me up for an official visit the weekend before last." Priester told in a recent interview. "I really enjoyed myself up there. They really showed me a great time. I wasn't expecting everything to be that nice. Kentucky is a really nice place."

Though Priester informed us that his visit to UKY was quite a unique experience, he enlightened us that his heart still remains with the Commodores. "I've made my final decision," Preister said. "I'm committed to Vanderbilt. I saw a lot of great things at Kentucky while I was up there, and I think Kentucky is a great school. But Vanderbilt is where I want to be."

Priester finished out his senior season with 1144 rushing yards on 106 attempts, and 15 rushing touchdowns. He also earned a trip to Myrtle Beach, SC to play in the 2009 North/South All-Star Football.
