Andre Hal: "I'm Ready To Sign Now!"

3-star cornerback prospect, Andre Hal, was one of several prospects on Vanderbilt's campus this past weekend. Find out inside how things went for the gifted corner from out of Port Allen High School during his official to Vandy.

When we last spoke to Andre Hal, the Louisiana native's commitment to Vanderbilt was a little shaky. That was simply because a nearby university had extended the 3-star prospect a scholarship offer; Louisiana Tech. Well after an official visit to Vanderbilt on this past weekend, the Port Allen High star has firmed things once again with the ‘Dores…

"Oh man, it was real nice," Hal said in regards to his visit to Vanderbilt. "It was the best visit I took. I'm ready to sign now. That's it; I'm going to Vanderbilt…"

While on his visit, Hal had an opportunity to see everything up-close. And not to mention, he was simply blown away with what he saw. However, there was one other aspect about his visit to Nashville that was simply overwhelming to him. "The people," he said. "The people in Nashville are so cool. They really made me feel at home while I was up there."

Hal also had a great time mingling with several of the players and with some of the members from the coaching staff. "I had a lot of fun with the players," He said. "I also enjoyed hanging out with the coaches. It's like; they (Vanderbilt Coaches) went all out for us… They really showed us a good time."

Hal is very excited about his future at Vanderbilt. He is patiently waiting for February 3rd to arrive, the day when he officially becomes a Commodore… Top Stories
