Head coach Paul Johnson of Georgia Tech told Kenyan Drake that he liked his explosiveness when he offered the 4.4 speedster. Apparently other schools are also very interested in Drake. Kenyan recently camped at Georgia's Elite Prospect camp and caught the Bulldog coaches attention, "I impressed them," said Drake. He continued, "They said they would contact me later in the week."
Vanderbilt is another school that Drake favors. He hasn't visited the Nashville school yet but says he is very interested in Vandy, "they have the top academics not only in the SEC but in the NCAA plus they are a very competitive team in the SEC," said Drake.
Drake, who says that Vandy is recruiting him as a running back or wide receiver, believes that he can be a versatile player for the Commodores, "I'm capable playing multiple skill positions on either side of the ball."
When asked who his favorite schools were Drake replied, "Georgia Tech, Georgia and Vanderbilt are my top schools at the moment."
Will Georgia and Vanderbilt join Georgia Tech as schools that have offered Kenyan Drake? Stay tuned to VandyMania.com/ Scout.com and find out.
