Villanova Beats Spanish Select, 87-80 in Game 2

Villanova's Spanish Exhibition Tour continued this afternoon in Madrid as the Cats knocked off the Spanish Select, 87-80.

Villanova beat a Spanish Select Team today in Madrid by a score of 87-80 to advance to 2-0 during the 2016 Wildcat Tour of Spain.

The returning wings corps led the scoring charge as Josh HartMikal Bridges and Kris Jenkins all scored the ball efficiently while Jalen Brunson continued his solid play at the point.

Hart scored 27 points on 11-18 from the floor and 3-8 beyond the arc to go with 13 rebounds.

Bridges dropped in 16 on 7-12 shooting from the floor (only 1-4 from deep).

Jenkins scored 10 on 3-8 from the field (3-6 from three-point range) and grabbed 9 boards.

Brunson tallied 14 points to go with 4 assists and 2 rebounds.

Overall, Villanova shot 33-68 from the floor (48.5%), 23-40 (57.5%) from two-point range and 10-28 (35.7%) from three-point range.
