Sunday EYBL ATL 'Nova Notes

VUSports wraps up EYBL Atlanta with a quick look at the performances put in on Sunday by players of interest to Villanova fans ...

Cole Anthony finished an impressive weekend with a 22 point, 3 rebound, 2 assist, 2 steal performance in a PSA Cardinals win over Oakland Soliders.  He shot the ball efficiently with 7-12 FG, 5-7 FT, and 3-4 3PFG.  Jake Forrester was relatively quiet and had some foul troubles.  He scored 2 points on 1-2 FGs, grabbed 4 boards, blocked 2, and handed out 2 dimes.

Jalen Carey also completed a high-scoring weekend with a 30 point effort on 11-13 FG, 3-4 FT, and 5-5 3PFG.  He also found time to dish out 8 assists and grab 3 boards and a steal in a 30 point Playaz win over Playground Elite.

Team Takeover grabbed a Sunday win over E1TI behind a 15 point output from Jalen Smith (7-13 FG, 1-4 FT, 0-2 3PFG) and two points from Brandon Slater.  Smith also grabbed 6 boards and blocked for shots while Slater pulled down 5 rebounds to go with 2 assists and a steal.

Kofi Cockburn posted 15 points and 9 rebounds in a Rens win over Mac Irvin Fire.

Cameron Reddish was dominant again in a Team Final win over RM5 Elite.  Reddish scored 28 points on 5-11 FG, 17-20 FT, and 1-5 3PFG.  He also got his teammates involved in the scoring action with 12 assists while grabbing 4 steals and 2 caroms.

BABC lost to CP3 despite a 19 point, 7 rebound performance from Cole Swider.

R.J. Barrett grabbed another 30 point game for the road but UPlay Canada fell to Team Penny.  Barrett also had 9 rebounds, 2 blocks and 2 assists.
