Florida DB makes commitment

Leroy Clark is a talented defensive back prospect from Archbishop Carroll High in Miami and he has made his college commitment.

Leroy Clark is one of the top two-way players in the Miami area this year. The talented senior decided to end the recruiting process today.

"I committed to Purdue," Clark said. "I like the academics and I (was) looking for that and a good opportunity to play."

Clark, 5-foot-10 and 180 pounds, had also received scholarship offers from Illinois, Indiana, West Virginia, and Maryland.

As a Prospect: Clark is a very productive player. He plays WR and FS and caught 25 passes on offense (as a junior) and has picked off a lot of passes on defense. The ball skills are outstanding. He plays with good instincts. He makes plays. He lacks ideal height (5-10) however, which means he projects better as a corner.
