Florham Park, N.J -- Mark Webb, out of Archbishop Wood Catholic, is rated among the best wide receivers in his class. He's the top WR prospect in Pennsylvania and the fourth-best WR prospect on the East Coast.
After competing in another camp on Saturday, Webb was ready to perform again on Sunday. "I'm ready to show them that I'm one of the best in the country," Webb said. "...And to get better."
Webb has 14 offers so far, but he has no front-runners so far. "I like all of them," Webb said. "Every school is neutral. No school - it's crazy standing out. I like all my schools...I've talked to the most Penn State [sic], Rutgers, Virginia Tech, North Carolina."
He's planning on visiting all of those schools during the summer, including University of Pittsburgh. During those visits, he has some key things that he's looking for in order for him to make the best possible decision.
"[During all of those visits, I'm looking for] schools that I can fit in," Webb said, "that pass - obviously, everybody passes I think - but a coach that really relates to his players. I mean, that doesn't baby their players. I don't want to be babied...I want them to tell me how it is. I don't want them to baby anything."
He isn't planning on attending many of the summer camps hosted by those schools, though. His only planned camp is an Alabama camp sometime this summer. Of the 14 offers he has so far, there are only two schools from which he wants offers. "UGA and Alabama," Webb said. With no clear standouts so far, Webb will have a lot to take in during his visits this summer.
