FLORHAM PARK, NJ – Offers are still coming in for Bridgeton (NJ) four-star wide receiver Markquese Bell. But as Bell continues to evaluate his recruiting landscape, he also has a decision date that’s still some time away.
Tennessee and Ole Miss are the latest offers for Bell and both are firmly in the picture. Virginia Tech is also making a push.
Bell had to cancel a visit to Blacksburg a few weeks ago for a spring practice due to a track meet. He has no make-up trip set, but as he stays in contact with assistant coach Brian Mitchell, hopes to still make his first visit to Virginia Tech this summer.
“I just wanna get down there and see the school,” Bell said. “Everybody says it’s a great school, a great atmosphere. I just wanna see it for myself before I take anybody else’s word for it.”
Bell visited nearby Rutgers for a barbecue Saturday night, but has no other visits planned. He wants to take all five official visits and said he’ll likely decide in February on national signing day.
