Virginia Tech got a new reinforcement on Monday.
Tift County (Ga.) point guard Tyrie Jackson signed his letter of intent Monday with the Hokies. He made his official visit to Blacksburg over the weekend.
Jackson also had an offer from Alcorn State. He becomes Virginia Tech's third piece of the 2016 class. Jackson joins Oak Hill Academy (Va.) three-star forward Khadim Sy and Northwest Mississippi junior college forward Seth LeDay, the younger brother of senior forward Zach LeDay. The younger LeDay, though, will sit out this coming season due to academic credits not transferring over.
