Quarterback Sam Howell, a member of the 2019 class, attended Virginia Tech’s final summer camp of the season. Howell hadn’t been in contact with the Hokies’ coaching staff since the regime change, but that changed today.
Howell spoke with most of the coaches – including getting a personal campus tour with offensive coordinator Brad Cornellson.
“[Coach Cornellson] described what life’s like at Virginia Tech,” Howell said. “It was pretty cool.”
“He said they’re going to discuss that tomorrow morning,” the quarterback said. “And he’ll let me know.”
Howell had a busy summer before attending the Justin Fuente Football Camp. He attended camps at West Virginia, South Carolina, North Carolina, NC State, and even flew down to Texas A&M.
He’s planning on taking a vacation before football gets underway in a few weeks.
