Cary Enos, 2018 quarterback from Byrnes H.S. in South Carolina, attended the final Virginia Tech recruiting camp of the summer.
"I did really good," Enos said. "I threw the ball very well. They said they really liked my size, being 6’6”. They said I had a great arm."
Enos has a height advantage over most quarterbacks, which helped him in the camp, even though there wasn't an offensive line.
"It’s always good to have the height because it allows you to see over the line," Enos said. "Today, it’s being able to throw with a high release and coming down with good posture."
Prior to attending the camp in Blacksburg, Enos camped at North Carolina, Middle Tennessee, and Tennessee.
"I did really good," the quarterback prospect said. "North Carolina said they are close to offering me and Middle Tennsessee said they really like me, too. Tenneesee, they said they are going to keep on watching me."
After attending the Virginia Tech camp, Enos believes that he increased his stock with the Hokies.
"They also said I was very close [to an offer]," Enos said. "They said they were going to keep watching me. They really like me, too. I love the coaching staff and I love it here."
