"I'm still considering my top seven which are Virginia Tech, Virginia, NC State, North Carolina, Wake Forest, Maryland and Syracuse," Tyran Hunt said. "Duke is also showing interest, so I'm looking at them as well. I'd say it's between Virginia Tech, Virginia, Maryland and Syracuse when it comes to who's recruiting me the hardest.
"Maryland is standing out. They have really opened my eyes. They have so much to offer me as a student-athlete."
He gave a quick thought on each school.
Virginia Tech: "They've recruited me for a long time and I've just always felt comfortable with the school," said the 6-foot-6, 275-pound Hunt.
Virginia: "They've just made a big impact on me throughout the recruiting process and I love the whole staff."
NC State: "It's a great school and the football team is on the rise and I could see myself being part of that program."
North Carolina: "UNC is a great all-around school and a serious school to consider when it comes to getting me to the next level."
Wake Forest: "It's a great academic school and a good school to attend."
Maryland: "It's an amazing school and I love everything about the campus."
Syracuse: "I'm trying to get a better feel for the school, but the staff is great and I'm looking forward to seeing the campus."
Duke: "Duke is great as well. I feel likes it would be a good university to call home, too."
Hunt has one official set and his decision will likely come sooner than later.
"Right now, I have an official visit scheduled to Syracuse on Sept. 9," he said. "I'm excited about learning more about the academics and getting a feel for the campus.
"I plan on committing after my trip, so I'm not sure if I will take any other officials."
