Malik Willis is committed to Virginia Tech, but plans to take his official visits to other schools

Malik Willis committed to Virginia Tech over the summer, but his recruitment is not over just yet. He plans to visit other schools and he talks about that and more here...

Evaluation notes:  Malik Willis is a 6-foot-2, 181 pound athlete out of Roswell (Ga.).  He is a quarterback first, and he has the skills to play that position on the next level.  He is also an athlete who could project at wide receiver or even safety.  As a quarterback, he has a live arm and can get the ball down the field.  He is still developing his mechanics and delivery as a passer.  What has to scare defenses when he is under center is his legs.  He is great in a zone-read offense where he has options, and when plays break down, he can make things happen.  He just has to make better, more consistent reads and throw with more consistency as a quarterback.  He has flashed skills at wide receiver too.  He has natural ball skills and he has good speed in the open field.  Defensive back is also a possibility due to his natural athleticism and his awareness and ball skills.

Schools mentioned in this interview:  Georgia TechTulane and Virginia Tech
