- Virginia Tech commit Kalil Pimpleton was excellent. He is fast, elusive and very tough. He took a couple big hits, and despite not being real big, pops right back up. He scored five times, throwing two, rushing for two and catching one. We have always thought he was good, he has shown this offseason and in this first game that he is better than we thought. We had him pegged as a return man and sometimes slot guy, but I think there is a better chance now that he becomes a real contributor on offense for the Hokies. His ability to make cuts at full speed, his competitiveness and all around playmaking skills are impressive. He is going to put up huge numbers this year.
