Virginia Beach (Va.) Bayside wide receiver Armani Chatman is having a big junior season.
Due to his efforts, he has three Power Five offers.
Chatman gave a quick thought about each school.
NC State: "It's in the ACC and they're having a pretty good season," he said. "I'm supposed to go down there soon, but don't have a date yet. I want to see their offense and also watch their DBs.
"(Cornerbacks) coach (George) Barlow stays in contact and is always honest with me. He also wants me to come visit."
Virginia Tech: "Obviously, it's an in-state school. Their new offense is putting up big numbers and they're proving a lot of people wrong. I'll probably go to the Virginia game (Nov. 26). I'm looking forward to seeing the offense roll and the defense attack.
"(Running backs) coach (Zohn) Burden is my recruiting coach. He's like a father figure and he always checks up on me. He's also already came to one of my games this year."
Rutgers: "They're in the Big Ten and it's a prestigious school. I also feel like the program is on the rise. Hopefully, I'll be able to visit soon. I want to see their offense and how much they throw the ball.
"I've spoken with (running backs) coach (Zak) Kuhr and (wide receivers) coach (Jafar) Williams. They always make a point to stay in touch."
Which school could be next to pull the trigger?
"I think it could be Duke and that would be great," Chatman said. "It's a prestigious school and they're in the ACC. They've also had a lot of success over the past few years."
Bayside is 4-2 and continues their season tomorrow at home against Landstown at 7 p.m.
