ACC, Big Ten, SEC programs showing early interest in 2020 LB Gaberiel Fuster

Gaberiel Fuster has a chance to be one of the next major recruits at Virginia Beach (Va.) Bishop Sullivan and the freshman inside linebacker spoke with Scout.

Virginia Beach (Va.) Bishop Sullivan freshman linebacker Gaberiel Fuster is already on the recruiting radar for multiple major college football programs.

In fact, the 6-foot, 215-pound Fuster has an early scholarship offer.

"I have an offer from Virginia Tech," Fuster said. "It's a blessing and it definitely means a lot. It's a great program and a lot of guys from the 757 have gone to school there.

"I like the coaching staff. Coach Bud Foster is one of the best defensive coordinators in college football and also a great linebackers coach."

Besides the Hokies, Fuster said FloridaVirginia and Michigan are showing interest.

Fuster has not taken any college visits lately, but did visit North Carolina and NC State on the same day during the summer, and gave a quick thought on each.

North Carolina: "I thought it was great and I got to see them workout," Fuster said. "I really enjoyed watching them and it was really fast. I also loved the overall atmosphere."

NC State: "It was also a great visit and I loved the atmosphere. I was also able to watch them workout and loved the intensity."

He does not have any visits scheduled at this time.

Bishop Sullivan is 7-2 and continues their season on Nov. 19 at home against IMG Academy.
