One offer and one visit was all Riverdale Baptist (Md.) offensive tackle Christian Darrisaw needed to make a decision. Darrisaw gave Virginia Tech his commitment Tuesday night, No. 16 for the Hokies in the 2017 class.
Virginia Tech just offered Darrisaw Friday. And on Saturday, Darrisaw unofficially visited Blacksburg for the Hokies' game against Georgia Tech. He made the trip with his teammate, Scout300 cornerback Tariq Castro-Fields.
Darrisaw is the third commitment for Virginia Tech in the 2017 class. That includes three-star Lecitus Smith, who has been promised a shot at tight end.
