Hokies top Cornhuskers 66-53

Virginia Tech uses strong second half to come back and top Nebraska to take third place in the Wooden Legacy Tournament.

Senior forward Zach LeDay didn't let Virginia Tech drop two consecutive games over Thanksgiving weekend. LeDay powered the Hokies to a 66-53 comeback win after trailing Nebraska by three at the half.

Both teams started slow - combining for eight points over the first eight minutes of the game - but the teams fought off the slow start. LeDay led the Hokies with 19 points. Forward Chris Clarke, guard Seth Allen and guard Justin Bibbs joined LeDay in double figures.

Virginia Tech faces Michigan in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge at 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 30 in Ann Arbor.
