With the comeback victory over Arkansas, Virginia Tech earned its tenth victory on the season, the first time reaching that mark since the 2011 season.
"I think it's a good reference point in terms of handling adversity," Virginia Tech head coach Justin Fuente said. "Starting tomorrow, our team will be different. We'll take a few days off, but I think those reference points are good. Each season is different and I think it helps the culture."
Reaching that tenth win was an achievement that the senior class was told would be the norm during recruitment.
"It is a nice accomplishment for them," Fuente said. "I do believe that and I do think they should take great pride in that. They wanted it and worked toward it. For this season that that group, they worked towards getting Virginia Tech back some of its previous recognition."
