Nosal Deciding Tuesday

It's decision time for tight end Greg Nosal out of Kellam High in Virginia Beach. After waiting out his recruitment, Nosal will put it to rest on Tuesday at 4:00 when he makes his college decision.

This summer, tight end/offensive line recruit Greg Nosal hasn't made the standard trips to camps and combines that most prospects have. Instead, the Kellam High prospect has been keeping in shape, playing AAU basketball, and lifting with his football team.

"I haven't been going to many camps because I've been in basketball," he noted. "I'm doing basketball this summer. We had a great season. I lift with the football team every day and I think I've gotten a lot stronger and am ready for the season to get going."

Nosal, who now benches 315 and stands 6'6, 255, is ready to move forward with his recruitment and put it to a close. Nosal has been receiving interest from seven schools in particular and will make his choice on Tuesday.

"[My schools are] Virginia Tech, Virginia, Connecticut, Marshall, Akron, ECU, and Kent State," he noted. "I have offers from all of those schools."

Tuesday, most believe that Nosal will choose Virginia Tech as his destination. Nosal has long favored the Hokies and his relationship with Coach Newsome may have sealed the deal for Tech. "I knew Coach Newsome from JMU because we went to camp there every year. He kept in contact with me and they were the first to offer," Nosal said of the Hokies.

Stay tuned to VTI on Tuesday for Nosal's collegiate decision.
