Waiting game for Ngachie

It's a waiting game for Good Counsel (MD) linebacker Marcel Ngachie.

It's been quiet on the recruiting front for Marcel Ngachie, due in large part to his focus on his senior season with Good Counsel (MD), which are 9-1 and heading into semifinals this week against St. Johns.

With the season wrapping up, the linebacker, who has recorded 57 tackles for Good Counsel, is hopeful his recruitment will pick back up.

"I haven't set anything up yet, as far as visits," he said. "After the season I will go to Delaware, and will talk to the schools who have been in contact with me."

Virginia was one, but Ngachie appears to have moved on from the Cavaliers.

"I am not looking at them anymore, right now. I know they have a deep linebacker class already."

Syracuse; however, is an offer that piques his interest, still.

"I haven't been in contact with them (Cuse) in a while, but apparently they saw my tape and are impressed, so we'll see what happens with them."

"I'm just waiting it out, and seeing what offers come in after our season."

At this point in the game, Delaware seems to be the front-runner.

"I am definitely going to visit Delaware after the season." Commit? "Well, if everything works out, then you never know, but I am still waiting it out."

And the waiting game continues...stay tuned for more on FOX Sports Next.
