Eric Bird's two first half goals helps the Virginia men's soccer team end its home stint with a 4-0 win over Providence Tuesday night. This win was Coach George Gelnovatch's 250th win in charge of the program.
Riggs Lennon and Patrick Foss notched up their first career goal respectively, with two second half goals to seal the game for the Cavaliers. The biggest accomplishment, however, was keeping a clean sheet. The defense kept Providence at bay, not allowing one clear shot on goal.
Virginia will now hit the road to Syracuse on Saturday.
