2016 Intro: Thomas Hopple

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. -- Recently, Thomas Hopple was one of the top performers at the recruit757 College Prep Showcase. Following the event, the 2016 Suffolk (Va.) Nansemond River offensive tackle spoke with Scout.com.

"UVa, Virginia Tech, Coastal Carolina, Richmond, ODU and NC State have come by my schools recently," said Thomas Hopple.

Where will the Nansemond River standout camp this summer?

"I'm definitely going to NC State and UVa," said the 6-foot-5, 260-pound Hopple. "I might also go to Virginia Tech."

He has worked hard in the offseason.

"I've been in the weight room a lot," Hopple said. "I'm really focused on getting bigger, faster and stronger."

Hopple is looking forward to his junior season.

"We're going to have a lot less seniors this year, so I feel like I'm going to have to be more of a leader," he said.

"I just want to play as well as I can and help my team win. Team-wise, we want to work hard and come together as a unit."
