Thomas Down to Two

Buford, Georgia 2015 running back Joshua Thomas has narrowed his offer list to two schools. Thomas is taking his time, along with his family, to take a closer look at both schools before he makes his college choice.

Profile - Joshua Thomas

Thomas recently visited North Carolina. He's also spent his summer hanging out with friends and talking to other recruits. Joshua mentioned two of those recruits. "I talk a lot with Mikell Lands-Davis. We are pretty good friends."

Joshua has also been in contact with Wheeler receiver and recent Georgia Tech commit Harland Howell. "I know Tech has got some really good recruits. It makes you take notice."

Georgia Tech and Missouri are the two schools recruiting Thomas the hardest. "They will be the two schools I'll make my choice from."

Joshua let us know what he likes about each school:

Georgia Tech - "I love there engineering school. It is the top school in the nation. I want to major in in environmental engineering and that is a big plus for Tech. I talk to Coach (Ted) Roof a lot. It will be strange not talking to him because of the dead period. I also like the fact they are recruiting me as a B-Back which is the feature back in their offense."

Missouri – "They also have a pretty good engineering school. I really love their spread formation offense a lot."

Thomas is also looking at the recruiting classes at both schools. "I talk to Mikell a lot and we aren't opposed to playing on the same team. Still, looking at what each team takes could play a part in my decision."

Look for his senior season to start before Thomas makes his decision. "My parents will help me in making my decision. I want to see how things are unfolding with those two teams."
