Working out various days with basketball now at Dreher, the forward was pretty impressive over the summer with his AAU team the Carolina Wolves. Mack is regarded as a very aggressive scorer and known for his athleticism on the court. The class of 2015 all-star is ranked 13th in his position by Scout.com and 68th overall.
Mack has scholarship offers from schools around the country like Auburn, Clemson, Houston, Mississippi State, Wake Forest, and Virginia Tech. Also, Georgia was in the mix this summer for an unofficial visit for the forward.
The 6-foot-6, 190 pound Palmetto-State native noted it’s almost time to trim the list down to his top schools.
“I’m probably about to put out a list sometime within the next couple of days,” Mack said.
Scout National Recruiting Analyst Rob Harrington spoke with Mack over the summer, where he noted his Mom like the idea of him being close to home.
"My mom wants me to stay close to home," he said. "It doesn't matter to me about that as far as what I think, I just want to find a get up and go style of play and find a school that has stability."
What’s going to be the determining factor for Mack? His his ability to make an impact early on.
“Somewhere I could play right away,” noted the Columbia-native.
