Luke Frampton is Flying Under the Radar

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va.-- Luke Frampton is one to keep an eye on in the 2017 class. The Poca (W.V.) shooting guard attended Virginia Elite basketball camp over the weekend, and he discussed his recruitment with Scout.

Luke Frampton is a 2017 shooting guard to keep an eye on. The Poca, West Virginia native holds offers from Marshall, Texas Tech and James Madison among others, and is hearing from plenty of other schools including Virginia.

"I talked to them [UVa] a little bit before," said Frampton.  "They started texting me when they could this year. They have kinda talked to me alot...Our relationship is alright."

Frampton was in Charlottesville, Virginia on Saturday to participate in UVa's Elite Basketball camp, "it was fun," he said.

It was also a chance for Frampton to see the UVa staff face to face.

"[Director of Scouting/Recruiting] Vic [Sfera] and [UVa assistant] Coach [Ron] Sanchez both just said keep working, and they are going to watch us play soon."

If an offer from the Wahoos were to come, Frampton says that moment "would be amazing."

"It would mean the world," said Frampton,"because this has been one of my dream schools since I was little."
