Virginia football is just a few days away from starting its season. The Cavaliers open things up on the road againt No. 13 UCLA on Saturday, and the 'Hoos face some challenges.
During camp the team went through some highs and lows, including losing its top offensive playmaker, wide receiver T.J. Thorpe. Thorpe broke his right clavicle during UVa's first scrimmage and remains sidelined. UVa head coach Mike London told reporter on Monday there is still no timeline on his return, and that they will continue to evalute him week-by-week.
Thorpe will not only be a visible loss on the field, but his leadership can't be put into numbers. As you will see from the video above, Thorpe was always one to wear his heart and love of the game and of the UVa program on his sleeve.
