London,'Hoos Excited for Notre Dame Challenge

Virginia head coach Mike London caught up with the media on Wednesday in his ACC Teleconference to discuss Notre Dame.

Virginia head coach Mike London caught up with the media on Wednesday to discuss the latest as the 'Hoos prepare for their second top 15 opponent. 


Opening Statement: London says Notre Dame is a very good football team, but the players are excited about the challenge and they are looking forward to the game on Sunday. 

CJ Prosise: London says he was definitely athletic when he was recruiting him back in high school. He adds that he has stepped up and he should be a very good running back for them. 

Grading Matt Johns: London says he did a really good job moving the team, and being the guy in the huddle that has a presence. "Matt's best football is ahead of him," said the head coach. London says that the signal caller has had two really good practices on Tuesday and Wednesday. He has the team rallying behind him. 

Helmets: The players were really excited to show off their uniforms, and they hope they will have other opportunities to do something like that. They are proud being part of the Univeristy of Virginia. Sometimes you need to do something for the student athlete, says London. 

Malik Zaire: London says he is a complete guy-he is also part of Notre Dame's running game. "Looking at his size and stature and his athletcism.. there are a lot of things you admire." London adds it will be challenge that they are excited to have.
