UVA Hoops Confident After First Win: 'We Will Get Better'

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va.-- Virginia men's basketball opened up the 2015 season with a blow out win over under matched Morgan State on Friday night. The Cavaliers talked about the win and finally hitting the hardwood after the win.

UVA forward Anthony Gill and guard Darius Thompson

Both Gill and Thompson discuss the opening game jitters, what were their takeaways from the first game and Thompson discusses his first career start for the Wahoos. 

UVA Guard Devon Hall

The Cavalier guard had a career-high of 13 points in the win. He also tied with Thompson with a game-high 4 assists. Hall discusses his performance, the addition of Thompson and plenty more in the video below. 

UVA Guard London Perrantes

The junior was more aggressive on Friday night. Perrantes finished the night with 6 points, two triples in the first half, and he talked about his new approach, the team's depth and more. 

UVA Center Mike Tobey

The Virginia center led the team with 15 points and 8 rebounds. He was also the spark that set the Cavs on the right track after Morgan State had put themselves within two points.
