'Hoos Trending: Flip Watch

A lot of new developments this week in regards to UVA football, HooNation thats a look at how those changes could affect the 2016 class? Are there any recruits on flip watch? We take a look.

The changes kept coming this week for Virginia football. Bronco Mendenhall was introduced as the new head coach and several assistants are joining him including BYU offensive coordinator Robert Anae (STORY) and Chris Beatty leaving. How does this affect the 2016 class?

UPDATE: Ruff has flipped his pledge to Syracuse on Saturday according to Mike McAllister of CuseNation.com

Kenneth Ruff committed to Virginia because of Chris Beatty. Beatty is off to Syracuse to become a running backs coach for Dino Babers. A flip to the Orange would not be surprising. Honestly, it is what I expect-especially since he will be in Syracuse this weekend for his official visit.

Laderrien Wilson was also one of Beatty's recruits. However, unlike Ruff, things started to trend away from UVA before the announcement Beatty was leaving. Although no date is set, Wilson is expected to take an official visit to Georgia Tech in late January. The Yellow Jackets run a similar offense to Wilson's high school. This will be one to watch moving forward.

Nick Grant is researching other landing spots. According to Free-Lance Star reporter Taft Coghill, Courtland High standout has reopened his recruitment. Grant quickly cleared the air saying he had not heard from Bronco Mendenhall and that he was just going to listen to other options, but has not decommitted.

Nothing new with Deedrick Daniels, however, like many others on this list, Chris Beatty was his main recruiter. When told about London's departure, Daniels told Scout that he was committed to UVA but he was keeping his options "open."

Neru N'Shaka has remained quiet since Mike London's resignation-issuing a "no comment" in regards to his reaction to London's departure and his status. N'Shaka is set to take two official visits:Toledo (Jan. 15-17) and Virginia (Jan. 23-25).

UPDATE Sat.: N'Shaka picked up an offer on Saturday morning from Syracuse.

Hasise Dubois told Scout's National Recruiting Analyst Brian Dohn that he is solid in his commitment to UVA, however, he is expected to take an official visit in January to Pittsburgh.

Tre Harbison- Many have asked about his status with Beatty gone. One word:SOLID

A few names to keep an eye on as Mendenhall keeps filling out his staff. Is there a UVA assistant in the ranks? Or who else could make the change to Charlottesville? Here is a look at those names as a "premium perk" for our HooNation.com's subscribers.
