Fifth ranked Virginia men's basketball team is back to work on Wednesday night. The Cavaliers will round out their non-conference schedule against Oakland at the John Paul Jones Arena.
This is the first meeting between the two teams. UVA is coming into the game after a dramatic win over California last week after London Perrantes hit a triple with ten seconds left in overtime.
The 'Hoos are on a nine game winning-streak, averaging just under 77 points per game.
Behind Enemy Lines
Oakland is coming off a 101-93 win over Chicago State. In that win Kay Felder had his sixth double-double of the season with 23 points and 13 assists-six players ended in double figures. Last week the Grizzlies also took No. 1 Michigan State to the wire in an overtime thriller.
The visitors will have a very explosive and an efficient offense. They ranked fourth in the country in scoring offense (averagng 88.4 points per contest), 12th in the country in rebounds (43.0) and 17th in free-throw percentage (76.1) Oakland is shooting 45.5 percent from the field and 39.3 percent from the outside.
While defensively, opponents are averaging 79.3 points per game, shooting 41.1 percent from the field and 32.9 percent from three-point range.

Kay Felder: The 5-fot-8, 176 pound guard averages 26.6 points per contest and tops thr country with 9.3 assists per game. He is hitting 44.7 percent from the field and 38.4 percent from the outside.
Max Hopper: is third in the NCAA in 3 pointers per game (3.8)
Percy Gibson: Gibson is hitting 54.3 percent from the field and averages 14.3 points per game, 7.9 rebounds per contest.
