PA RB Wants to be a Hoo

Virginia, Maryland, Syracuse, Northwestern, Boston College, and Pittsburgh are among the schools currently showing interest in the 5'10", 195-pounder.

Considering he runs the 40 in 4.3 seconds, no one will ever question the speed of Bishop Carroll's (Ebensburg, Pa.) Paul Forcellini. And looking at his junior stats, 1,800 yards and 26 touchdowns at running back, and 134 tackles at linebacker, no one is going to question his talent either.

Virginia, Maryland, Syracuse, Northwestern, Boston College, and Pittsburgh are among the schools currently showing interest in the 5'10", 195-pound Forcellini, and although he isn't naming a favorite, Virginia is near the top of the list.

"I am keeping my options open, but I would like to go to Virginia," Forcellini said. "I will be going there this Saturday for Junior Day, so we will just see how things go."

Although Forcellini is constantly striving to get better, he has a good idea as to what makes him an impact player on both sides of the ball.

"Offensively, I think it is my speed, vision, and refusal to go down," Forcellini said. "Defensively, it is my vision and the fact that I play at 100 miles an hour on every play."
