Springfield, OH Springfield South High quarterback Brennen Glass, while still waiting on that first offer, is being recruited hard be several top football programs including the Hoos of Virginia.

Glass has great size at 6'4, 212 pounds, and had a superior junior season as he passed for a whopping 3,052 yards, 30 touchdowns and only 12 interceptions; he was the leading passer in the state of Ohio last season with those stats.

"I feel that I have great pocket presence," said Glass. "I can stay in the pocket until the last second and make the good throw. I can also avoid the rush well, and if the pocket collapses I can make a play on the run."

Glass is getting heavy interest from Wisconsin, Iowa, Tennessee, Notre Dame, Stanford, Kentucky, Purdue, Boston College, Virginia, and Illinois.

So who are his favorites?

"Wisconsin, Iowa, Notre Dame, Purdue, Virginia, and Kentucky are my favorites right now. I really have a lot of respect for Al Groh and his coaching staff. I really like the fact that he coached in the NFL, which is a big plus."

Brennen does not have a favorite at this time, but was very impressed by a recent visit.

"I recently went to Notre Dame's junior day and came away very impressed with the staff and the campus."

So what are Brennen's plans for the rest of the summer?

"I have decided to camp at Purdue this summer for the Elite Quarterback School and maybe camp at some other schools that are interested. I have attended junior days at Purdue and Notre Dame, and I will attend junior days at Wisconsin and Tennessee in March."
