O.C. Wardlow Accounts For 4 TD's

Call him undersized if you want to...O.C. Wardlow is a winner. The Mount Tabor HS (NC) quarterback continues to play extremely well and has his team on a roll. His play last Friday night was a prime example of what the talented youngster is capable of. HooNation gives you an update of how well O.C. played this past week.

The Mount Tabor Spartans (NC) moved their record to 6-0 Friday night behind the direction of 2006 University of Virginia commit O.C. Wardlow with a 49-7 win over North Davidson in 4-A action. Unofficially we had Wardlow down for 10-21 and 253 yards passing on the night. He accounted for four touchdowns on the night, 3 via passing touchdowns and running for one on the ground.

The UVa commit got plenty of help from running back Joe Brown who had 173 yards total scoring 4 touchdowns (2 catches, 2 runs) on the night. The Spartans are currently ranked #3 in the 4-A AP rankings of North Carolina.

Given the success Wardlow has obtained at the quarterback position during his career at Mount Tabor HS there's no doubt he'll be given a chance to play the same spot at the next level in Charlottesville. We will continue to follow the seasons of all the current 2006 UVa commits through the year.
